The One Butt Story

How it started

 

My current kitchen is smaller than an apartment sized kitchen butt in a house!  It is small enough for only one butt, mine.  :) Once I get into a bigger kitchen, I will keep the same name because I really only want one butt (mine) working in it.  

 

The name was derived from a good friend who said her grandmother always called her kitchen the one butt kitchen because it was her place to make soul food, alone.  

 

With the help of many other friends, the name, the logo, and the chocolate has evolved into what it is now.  So, many thanks friends!

 

The truffle photo to your left is from my sisters wedding.  I was trying to get a chocolatier (in a different state) to do something special for her guests as wedding favors.  When I realized the price, I asked her if I could make them myself.  I did, I received great reviews, and have since been asked for more!
